On the way home[open]

The last bell rung over the high school grounds that afternoon. Telling the students that it was time to go home. Until it was time for cram sessions that it is. That last boy out of the room was had a strange creature following. But he was the only one that could see. That was because the creature was a shinigami. And only those who have touched the death note can see the a god of death. This man was KIRA but no one knew that expect the second kira. The brunette turned the corner out the class room ignore the other students.

As he walks a occasionally wind his the inner part of his tan blazer. Come on light talk to me the shingami be hind him begged. Light stayed quiet hoping the death god would be quite. He could talk to the apple loving creature in front of people. He expected that the black winged thing should know that by know. A couples seconds later he finally reached outside. Come on light the death god whined back to him. " Ryuk I cant talk to here" he said trying to look light he wasn't talking to himself.

"We have reason to believe that these deaths are not....usual. Perhaps we could consider them as murder."
"We have already been doing so. We have located the miller to Japan, although in case I have been mistaken, I have initiated a back up plan. Tell the NPA not to interfere with tonight's news broadcast." The electronic voice stated through the machine, the large gothic L disappearing from the screen moments later.

A young man in blue jeans, a long sleeved white T-shirt and messy ebony hair crouched in his chair, a phone dangling from his thumb and forefinger as he spoke in fluent Japanese to the person on the other end.
"Yes we can get you a death row inmate, for what reason is this?"
"An experiment."
"I'm sorry that is inhumane, we do not give out prisoners like lab rats."
"If he survives he can go free."
The woman on the end of the line sighed. "Fine."
"Make sure he has an 'L' somewhere in his name. Thank you for your cooperation." Flipping the phone shut, he reached over, picking up a few sugar cubes, dropping them one by one into the ceramic cup below him until they congealed into a pasty substance. Draining the cup, he closed his eyes. The deep black bags beneath them were evidence of a chronic insomniac. He would unearth Kira's location tonight, even if it killed him.

IC: Kh sighed gently, comeing from the side of the school just as the bell let out, she skipped most of the school day & just sat there on the side of the chool reading her rather large book of name lists for Sakura TV. She wnted to go back to HQ, but at the same time she wanted to see as many sights as she could see before then, because she knew she would not be back out for quite awhile once she set foot in the building. Decideing to take the long way, she began walking on the sidewalk becide afew people holding the large book under her cloak; hidden, & every now & again useing her free hand to adjust her hood so that it could cover both her nose & eyes. Now only her pale pink lips could be seen. She almost looked like a male in her current side, from how she was adjusting her bangs. Sighing gently she adjusted her hood once more just as she pased by Light, who was seeming, to be talking to herself, for what she could hear. "Excuse me?" she said softly thinking that he was talking to her. Her voice clearly showed that she was a female, & her chest stuck out slightly pushing the cloak forward abit, but every other deatail about her was almost like a male's. She wasn't wereing any shoes, her hair wasn't brushed at all, & she was slouching, getting the bad habit from L like right after he stands up from his chair & shoves his hands in his pockets.

Oooo I think she heard you light how you going to get out of this one. The shinigami said the brunette man with a laugh filling his throat. Great Light thought to himself in an annoyed tone. He remained silent for a moment deciding to handle the situation in a different way. He knew the girl was saying a excuse me because he was talking to Ryuk. So, it must have looked like he was taking to himself. Because of the course the girl could not see they god of death. She did not touch the death note which is why she could not see it. Light put on a calm face and adjusted his bag strap on his shoulder. Ryuk laughed a little behind ,but light ignored him.

Light was going to the pretend that the he never talk to Ryuk. And that the girl simply just randomly came up to him and said excuse me. The brunette examined the girl for a moment seeing that she wasn't wearing shoes. For a moment he wondered what was up with that. But a short second later he pushed it from his mind knowing it wasn't it important. The only thing that was important right now was keeping his cover. [ I] Go on light she’s going to get suspicious.[/i] The god of the death told him loudly with another laugh. Light still ignored him ,then finally spoke. " Yes" he said simply to the girl.

Beep Beep

The loud noise startled L from his rare patch of sleep, almost causing him to topple from the chair that he had situated his form on. Suppressing a yawn, he reached forwards, pressing the button in front of him, a large 'W' appearing on the screen, a white background behind it.
"Yes?"
"L, we have done as you have requested and managed to secure a death row inmate to your description. the first place we are broadcasting is Tokyo. It is scheduled to interrupt all other programming."
"Very well." He replied back to the screen, brushing his coal black locks from his eyes. Placing a thumb to his mouth, he began to count down the last few hours until the broadcast.

"Hmm.." she murmered slightly studying him throughtly. Takeing a hand & diging in her back pocket of her ripped up black jeans she turned around peging to pase away. 'Yagami Light...' she thought to herself noticeing hiom almost immidately. L had been saying the whole time that she was there, how Light was Kira. Takeing her pale & almost completely bony arm from the cloak she flipped open the phone & began messageing L through text, instead of talking. 'I have just come in contact with Light Yagami---' the text began, '---he seemed to be talking to someone, a character named, "Ryuk". Although I could not see him/her.' it ended before she sent it & quickly closed the phone before pulling her arm back in the cloak & stuffing the phone in her back pocket again. Meanwhile, afew moments from this, L's phone began viberateing lightly in his right pocket.

Light watched the girl with a straight face on his lips. Right away he knew she was up to something ,but what could it be. She had turned away from him without a reply to his answer to her. Oooo i think shes on to you light The death god cackled with his hand on his chest. Light remained silent and ignore the shinigami. This girl must be a threat the man told himself. I must get rid of her he continued in his head as he watched her use her phone. You got all quiet light do yuh got a plan to deal with her? Ryuk asked looking over the tall boys shoulder. As if he was watching to see if light would go into his bag for the death note. You know light this would be a good time for the shinigami eyes. All it would cost you was have your remaining years The shingami offered standing up straight again.

Light continued to ignore the death god as he spoke to him. He could speak to the creature right now , because someone was here. And the person seemed to be suspicious about him for some reason. Light deiced to talk to the girl in attempt to get her name from her, so he could get rid of her. When the girl seemed to be done using her cell phone he took a step toward her. " My names Light Yagami what’s yours?’ He asked in calmly voice with his hand held out to her. The shinigami behind him tilted his head lightly. Before cackling at the young boys actions with the girl. Light continued to ignore the shingami and waited for the girl to speak. Hoping that his plan would work to get her name.

L seemed hardly surprised as his phone beeped, flipping it open he scanned the words on it with a nod.
Thank you. Please remember to destroy this phone in twenty four hours. L He replied
Tossing the machinery back onto the work top, he reached across his messy workspace, pulling a lollipop from the stack of sweets he kept nearby.
Placing it into his mouth, he flicked his eyes to the clock that was perched on the wall.
Two hours left until they got the definitive answer.

Feeling her phone both viberate & ring with an odd, ghostly, romanian ringtone she took her phone out again quickly opening it & reading it & nodded her head softly. Before she shut the phone, & stuffed it back in her back pocket. She turned her head to Light gently, abit sirprized, but that could not be seen by none other than her lips which her partally open when he asked for her name. Turnign around and faceing him she had a soft shiver before she said simply, "Hana." then took her bony hand & shook his lightly before pulling her pale hand back in her cloak & walking off. She adjusted her hood once more, just to be carful, & then dug in her left front pocket wanting to listin to her music, & soon pulled out an Mp3, with small black headphones. She placed one earphone in her ear keeping the other one out just in case Light wanted to confront her again & soon turned on the music having the same song in german just has her ringtone was, but longer & abit louder.

Not very social is she light? the death god said to the high school student. Light kept silent an watched the girl walk away with a straight face upon her lips. Hana he repeated in his head wondering if that was her real name. She seemed rushed to spit it out to him before leaving. So that could not be her real name. He deiced to try it anyway just to prove his theory. The man the put his hands behind his back causally. Before opening up the compartment that was hidden on his watch. inside was a small piece of paper from the death note and small thin pin. Keeping a straight face his picked up the pin between his fingers.

The death god laughed slightly and watched mans actions. Because he probably knew the girls real name. But he wasn’t going to tell light that , because he was him to make the eye deal. Light had no intention of making such a sacrifice. Light then brought the pin to the skin of his hand ,pricked it lightly. Using the blood on the tip of the pin he wrote the name Hana on the little piece of paper. When the name was written he put the pin back down on the piece of paper. Before closing the watches compartment and looked as his watch. His eyes then looked to the girl as she walked away. What are you planning light? Ryuk asked they man, but still god no answer.

Light Yagami. Too perfect for his own good. Everything he does is calculated and precise, therefore, if we are using the theory that he needs a name and a face to kill, he would've asked Hana for her name. Assuming she gave him an alias, he would also try to kill her in a discrete manner and realised that it was indeed a fake name. Thus causing him to probe deeper. The chance of this happening...89 percent.
L swung around on his chair, allowing his thoughts to run away with him. The many monitors that scanned the city emitting a dull glow into the perpetually dark room.
One hour thirty minutes left.

(Ohhh a quick heads up, I'm out alllllllllllllllllllllll day tomorrow, so don't expect a reply, I might post when I get back...But this I doubt. Sorry, Ambyr x)

Continueing to walk she froze slightly feeling the phone viberate again & ring the same odd, ghostly, romanian ringtone. Swinging it from her back pocket she opened it, pressed a single button on it, & held it up to her ear, much like L; Untill she noticed what she was doing. Throwing it up shightly she caught it & held it to her ear knowing that she was getting that habit from Ryuzaki. "Hello there..." she spoke into it just standing for a second. "Ms.Hana, Dinner's ready." a man said from the other side. She could easly tell that it was Takanaka. "You call me now & tell me that at a time like this??" she snapped into the phone. By now40 seconds had passed, & nothing had happened. "I just wanted to inform you." the man snapped back then soon hung up leaveing a long beep telling that the phone line had been dissconnected. "DimWit.." she said softly shutting the phone, placeing it in her backpocket, then walking away again.
